Apple releases iOS 11.1.1 to consumers

Apple has today released iOS 11.1.1 to iPhone and iPad owners. The release fixes bugs such as the infamous ‘i’ autocorrect bug that showed up as a ? and [A] character and more.

Apple had previously asked users to create a text replacement as a temporary solution for the ‘i’ bug. Users will be happy to know that the update no longer requires the workaround.

iOS 11.1.1

iOS 11.1.1 includes bug fixes for your iPhone or iPad. This update:

• Fixes an issue with keyboard auto-correct

• Fixes an issue where Hey Siri stops working

As usual users can upgrade in their device’s settings menu, but if you’re already running the beta version of iOS 11.2 the fix has already been applied.
