After listing the 2017 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar on their Refurbished Store last week, Apple on Thursday started to sell their range of refurbished 2017 27-inch iMac models online too, with discounts of approximately 15% off their original selling price.
First introduced in June at WWDC, the refurbished iMac’s feature Kaby Lake processors, faster SSDs compared to previous iMac releases, and AMD discrete graphics. It’s likely Apple is clearing their iMac inventory ahead of the introduction of their all new iMac which is expected to launch later “this year”, with the machine geared more towards “the pro market”.
As with all refurbished Apple products sold directly through Apple, the refurbished iMac models are thoroughly inspected, tested, cleaned, and repackaged, including the manuals and cables included in the box and come with Apple’s standard 1-year warranty.
