Celebrating #WorldEmojiDay, Tim Cook has revealed a selection of new emoji characters coming to iOS “later this year”.
In the tweet sent as part of the annual global celebration of emojis, Tim Cook showed off a handful of the 69 new characters believed to be included within either iOS 11.1 or 11.2 later in the year.
While Tim didn’t share all of the new emoji characters that have been previously reported to be coming later this year, other potential additions shared by Emojipedia mockups include flags for England, Scotland, and Wales; a man and woman sitting in the lotus position; a man and woman rock climbing; a zombie; male and female genies, and many more.
