Supermarket shopping is one of those tasks you either love or hate however, if you were lucky enough to bump into Steve Jobs while traveling around the aisles, I’m sure you’d always have a buzz of excitement the next time the refrigerator was running low. Ryan McGeehan, a Facebook employee just happened to meet the legendary Apple co-founder in Whole Foods Market of all places… Here’s how it happened.
Business Insider reports that while paying for his shopping at Whole Foods, Ryan McGeehan received an unsuspecting tap on the back from a fellow shopper in the store asking for directions to the lemonade he was purchasing, just as Ryan had told the shopper where to find the fizzy drink, he realise that he was speaking to none other than Steve Jobs. “You kind of look like Steve Jo…” said Ryan and right about then Steve grinned and started a conversation with the Facebook Security specialist.
After shaking hands and introducing himself, Steve and Ryan are said to have spoken for at least five minutes, discussing trivial commonalities such as where they both lived and what it was like working in Palo Alto. Ryan says… “We ran out of trivial chats, and I said it was nice to meet him. He remembered my name and said bye, and I remember being impressed with him minutes later that he remembered my name considering how many people he must have to deal with.”
