Apple has unveiled their renovated, flagship Regent Street store

Following major renovation work which saw Apple close their central London Regent Street retail store since the beginning of the year; the Cupertino tech giant has once again opened their doors, unveiling a totally redesigned store layout and facade to the media who had chance to explore the store before it’s grand unveiling to the public this Saturday.

Apple’s Regent Street store is the first Apple retail location within Europe to receive the Jony Ive treatment, with construction agency Foster+Partners, who are currently developing Apple’s new spaceship campus, working closely with Apple’s retail devision, helping to bring the fresh, spacious store layout seen within multiple new Apple locations across the United States.

The images above, taken by engadget, show Apple’s Regent Street store in all it’s glory, including the new double height “grand hall”, twelve real planted trees and twin staircases made from sandblasted Castagna stone takes visitors up to the new mezzanine level.

The Grade II-listed exterior facade leads onto London’s busy Regent Street. The location was home to the tech giants first store within the UK, opening it’s doors in 2004 and leading the way to 38 other retail locations within the country.

The store, located at 235 Regent Street LondonW1B 2EL, shall open to the public at 10:00am on Saturday 15th October 2016.
