Supply chain leaks claim to show iPhone 8 parts, including a vertical dual camera module and front panel
In an upload posted to reddit, new supply chain leaks claim to show never before seen iPhone 8 parts, including a vertical dual camera module and a glass front panel with narrow edged bezels and a top bar that will likely house a front-facing camera, microphone, and speaker.
While iPhone 8 sketches and design briefs aren’t an uncommon find on the internet, this is the first time we’ve actually seen parts that appear to be genuine, with the person posting the pictures claiming to of received the images (above & below) from a friend who reports that Chinese manufacturers received the components last week.
It’s believed Apple will release two iPhone models in September, an iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus that will be minor updates to Apple’s current iPhone 7 offerings as well as an all new, dramatically redesigned iPhone 8. Reports claim the device will feature an edge-to-edge OLED display integrated into an all glass body.
I have a friend in the industry who just sent me these. He said the Chinese manufacturers got these last week.
