Report claims Apple Watch Series 3 to be available in LTE and non-LTE models with no design changes
According to a new report from KGI Securities Analysts Ming-Chi Kuo, dubbed the best Apple analyst by some; Apple is preparing an LTE and non-LTE Apple Watch Series 3 to launch later this year, likely without any major design changes or tweaks to the wearables physical form factor.
The report claims that Apple is expected to ship 17.5-18 million Apple Watches across this year with 8-9 million units being new models later this year. While Ming-Chi Kuo reports Apple won’t overhaul the design of the Apple Watch which was originally launched in 2015, it is believed the wearable will see a design refresh at a later date, possibly wit the 4th or 5th generation.
Following tradition it’s likely Apple will introduce the new Apple Watch Series 3 alongside the iPhone 8 later this year, a device that is quickly building itself up to be one of the most anticipated iPhone releases of all time.
