Report claims Apple could offer iPhone 8 customers free Apple Music & iCloud storage
According to a questionable report from Barclays market analysts, Apple could offer iPhone 8 customers free Apple Music & iCloud storage bundles to boost sales and compensate for the rumored $1000+ price tag of their upcoming handset.
While Apple themselves shy away from sales, the company has been known to partner with carriers in the United Kingdom and United States to offer exclusive Apple Music promotions, such as UK carrier EE’s six-month free Apple Music promotion to “pay monthly” and SIM-only customers which launched in July.
Picking up on the analyst predictions, Business Insider added:
Analysts from Barclays speculated in a note published on Thursday that one way Apple could convince customers to buy its upcoming $1,000 phone is through bundling the device with its Apple Music streaming service and increased iCloud storage space.
