References point to Apple naming the next update to the Mac operating system macOS 10.13
It appears that this year Apple won’t be naming their Mac operating system upgrade macOS 11, with references revealed on Tuesday pointing to the company naming the next-generation OS macOS 10.13.
With WWDC scheduled for June and with Apple engineers working on the software ahead of it’s official public launch, a URL which leads to a text file that contains a list of downloads has shared the apparent new naming for the next-generation OS.
This clue seems to point toward the fact that this year’s update will be an incremental one, and we won’t see a big jump to macOS 11 however, with that being said Apple could switch the update version name at any time and so far very little information has surfaced regarding the new features of the upgrade.
