New iPhone 8 schematic shows a device with a dual-lens vertical rear camera and possible wireless charging area
A new iPhone 8 schematic has surfaced by several “leakers” who often share alleged leaked device images sourced from Weibo. The new schematic claims to show Apple’s next generation smartphone, a device that features a dual-lens vertical rear camera and possible wireless charging area with no rear Touch ID sensor.
As with all leaks, it’s not clear if the schematic is legitimate, and with more anticipation building for the release of the iPhone 8 it’s not uncommon for fake news to surface. The release of the new schematic appears to depict the interior of the OLED iPhone 8, matching most of the reports that have been published recently about the 10th anniversary iPhone handset, apart from a rear Touch ID sensor, something which has received mixed views on the internet.
It’s worth pointing out that before sending a device into mass production Apple often creates a range of prototypes which never enter the hands of the public. It’s possible that this schematics relates to one of the models Apple is internally testing almost others. Apple’s upcoming iPhone 8 is building itself up to be one of the most anticipated iPhone releases of all time. The device is said to feature a glass body and edge-to-edge OLED display that includes an integrated Touch ID fingerprint sensor and front-facing camera. While the iPhone 8 will be the star of Apple’s 2017 iPhone line-up, the company is also said to be planning an iPhone 7s update which will upgrade the current flagship iPhone handsets Apple offer.
This is a tipped leak what means I can’t confirm if legit or not but there you have it… #iPhone8 pic.twitter.com/6OgASNUDNb
