New 4K up-close drone footage captures contractors working on the landscaping and interior of Apple Park
Shared on Youtube by Duncan Sinfield, new 4K up-close drone footage captures contractors working on the landscaping and interior of Apple Park. As seen in the tour the campus is still looking very much like a construction site, with heavy machinery visible in and around the “spaceship”, however; noticeably each set of drone footage shows the progress that is being made on the development.
Landscaping everywhere on the campus has been expanding over the past few weeks, so much so that Apple has caused tree shortages for other companies in the area. Last month WIRED was invited to Apple Park to take an exclusive tour of the site, a tour that revealed images of the interior of Apple’s new headquarters and offered a peak into what’s still yet to come.
Apple officially named their new headquarters, Apple Park, back in February as well as dedicating their 1,000-seat auditorium which will be the host of future Apple product launches the Steve Jobs Theatre as a tribute to Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.
Apple Park
Apple Park will run on 100% renewable energy and be home to the world’s largest panels of curved glass that are being installed to the 2.8 million-square-foot main building. The 12,000 staff members moving to the campus over the next six months will enjoy a 100,000 square foot fitness centre, with members of the public able to view the headquarters through Apple’s public visitors centre which includes a cafe and Apple Store.
