New 2018 iPad Pro concept imagines Face ID & bezel-less design
In the lead-up to the launch of the iPhone X, Benjamin Geskin built himself up to be one of the main sources for leaks and visualisations, and now an iPad Pro concept from the Latvian creator imagines an iPad Pro based off the iPhone X, featuring no Touch ID sensor and a new bezel-less display.
Benjamin imagines an iPad Pro that uses Apple’s Face ID facial recognition system that unlocks a device via authentication of a registered users facial features. – Unlike the iPhone X, the concept shows the front facing camera system hidden within the devices bezel rather than protruding onto the display.
While the new iPad Pro concept looks visually flawless, Twitter has been quick to react pointing out that a bezel-less display of that magnitude may cause problems, with some worrying that accidental touches may hamper the user experience.
