Leaked macOS 10.14 screenshots show new dark mode, Xcode 10 and Apple News app
With Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference quickly approaching, leaked screenshots appear to show macOS 10.14, giving us what could be our first glimpse at Xcode 10, macOS’s new dark mode and Apple News for the Mac.
The images come courtesy of developer Steve Troughton-Smith who may have just revealed some of macOS 10.14’s biggest features ahead of Monday’s conference. The screenshots show what appears to be Xcode 10 running on a Mac using dark mode, with a News icon showing in the macOS dock, revealing Apple may be planning to port the iOS exclusive Apple News app across to the Mac.
Although not shown in the leaked images, Steve claims that the Mac App Store app will gain video previews for the first time.
We’ve got no reason to doubt Steve, or his leak today… However, nothing is official until Apple reveals it themselves. Luckily, we don’t have long to wait! – The Apple Post will be covering everything announced at WWDC live on @TheApplePost, and here at theapplepost.com.
