iPhone XS or iPhone Xs? Even Apple gets confused whether or not the “S” is a capital letter
Apple unveiled its two new iPhone X predecessors a little over two weeks ago, introducing the world to the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max. Since the introduction of the new devices, carriers, retailers and Apple themselves have heavily invested in marketing the handsets to potential customers, but one thing has become apparent, nobody knows, including Apple themselves, if the “S” in the iPhone Xs is a capital letter or not.
It may sound silly, (and it probably is) but I for one quickly picked up on the fact that some parts of Apple.com referred to the new iPhone as the iPhone XS, and others called it the iPhone Xs. As shown in the examples below, it looks as if everyone’s a little confused as to how to properly name the new iPhone models.
Carriers and third-party retailers aside, Apple themselves appear to be flicking between iPhone XS and iPhone Xs. – On Apple.com for example, you’ll mainly see the new iPhone models referred to as the iPhone Xs, however; on the website page titles (used for SEO and picked-up by Google) the models are called the iPhone XS, and on Apple’s social media pages, the company is going against what has been written online and is using a capital letter to name the devices.
Let's settle this once and for all. 📱 What is the correct way of referring to Apple's new iPhone, is it the iPhone XS or iPhone Xs?

Over the years Apple has swapped between using a capital and lowercase “S” in the naming of their devices. The iPhone 4S used a capital letter, whereas the iPhone 6s was lowercase. On the box of the iPhone Xs Max, Apple refers to the device with a lowercase “S”, however, that naming strategy hasn’t been applied to all iPhone marketing and branding.
