iPhone X gestures come to iPad with iOS 12
With the introduction of iOS 12 at WWDC, iPad users will have a new user interface to look forward to.
iPad users can now swipe up to the home screen and open Control Center with similar gestures on the iPhone X. It’s also important to note that Apple has moved the time and the status bar to the left side bezel. This is most likely for the rumored bezel-less iPad coming later this year.
To use it on iPad, you first need to swipe up once to activate the dock and then swipe again to jump to the home screen. Instead of moving control center for iPhone, Apple has extended the same gesture to the iPad. Users will now swipe from the top right corner to summon control center.
