Increased shipping estimates hint Apple could refresh the 15-inch MacBook Pro at WWDC
As spotted by Mac Rumors, increased shipping estimates for Apple’s 15-inch MacBook Pro hint the company could be planning to launch a refreshed model at WWDC next week. Currently in the United States, customers looking to purchase the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar are being given estimated free delivery shipping windows for between June 6-8.
If Apple is indeed planning to refresh the 15-inch MacBook Pro at WWDC next week it’s likely that the machine will receive internal improvements only, including an upgrade to Intel’s faster Kaby Lake processors. Stock of the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar doesn’t appear to be in short demand, with shipping estimates in the United States still showing that the machine is in stock as normal.
Spot checks show 15-inch MacBook Pro delivery estimates are similarly as long in the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, and several other countries. – As Kaby Lake processors are now widely available, it’s not totally unrealistic to imagine Apple could be planning to refresh the 15-inch MacBook Pro at WWDC.
