Images claim to show redesigned iPhone SE 2 with glass back
Sketchy images uploaded to a Chinese social media network Weibo, via Czech site Letemsvetem, claim to show Apple’s highly rumored iPhone SE 2, featuring a new glass-back, Touch ID sensor and a 3.5-millimeter headphone jack.
While the image suggests Apple’s iPhone SE 2 will feature design tweaks on the rear, the update will most likely be geared towards the internals, with various reports pointing to an upgraded processor (A10 chip) and other tweaks.
Although these images may not truly represent the new iPhone SE 2, it does appear the company is preparing for the imitate launch of new iPhone hardware, with regulatory filings submitted to the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) showing new iPhone model numbers that have been approved for sale in a number of countries including Russia and Armenia.
It’s possible Apple’s updated iPhone SE 2 could debut at WWDC in June, or even at some point during next month.
