April drone footage shows Apple Park campus in all its glory
New drone footage shared by YouTuber Oxysasha has captured the Apple Park campus in all its glory, offering a a detailed flyover showing the near complete “spaceship” building and surrounding landscaping.
Unlike previous videos hardly any construction workers can be seen during this 20 minute tour, hinting that nearly all work has been completed on the site which Tim Cook said during Apple’s Q2 2018 financial earnings call earlier in the week that we’d here more about in the year.
Apple Park is now Apple’s official address, replacing One Infinite Loop that as been the company’s corporate headquarters since 1993. – Now that Apple has moved into the building its likely that they shall soon ban flyover footage such as this, and take action on YouTubers trying to film the site.
Apple Park
Construction on the headquarters started back in 2013, with work over-running from the original completion date of Summer 2017. Apple Park will run on 100% renewable energy, with a view of the 2.8 million-square-foot main building accessible to the public through Apple’s new visitors center that includes an on-site cafe and Apple Store.
