Apple has kicked off pre-orders for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus and Apple Watch Series 2 models
After announcing the two new models at their conference on Wednesday, Apple has put both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus up for pre-order, allowing shoppers to purchase the two next generation handsets via Apple’s online store as well as through their Apple Store app.
As always, for the first couple of minutes Apple’s servers struggled with the overwhelming demand from shoppers, with the pre-order launch delayed for approximately five minutes while Apple gradually rolled out access country by country. For the initial launch, Apple shall be shipping to 28 countries including Australia, China, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the U.S.
Apple’s first batch of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus deliveries should begin to arrive on doorsteps around the world next Friday (16th September) with others having to wait until October and even November due to the overwhelming demand for Apple’s new Jet Black product variations.
