Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock gets small price reduction in the UK
Apple has given the Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock a small price reduction in the United Kingdom, taking the price of the dock down from £79 to £75, giving customers a saving of around 5 percent.
The simplistic Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock was introduced by Apple in November 2015, around 7 months after the original Apple Watch launched. The small circular charging pad is compatible with all Apple Watch models, including the newly announced Apple Watch Series 4.
When the dock originally launched Apple had priced the accessory at £65, £10 higher than it is today. As described by Apple, With the Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock, you can charge your Apple Watch in a flat position with its strap open, or on its side.
When docked on its side, your watch automatically goes into Nightstand mode, so you can also use it as your alarm clock. The Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock uses the same inductive charging connector that comes with Apple Watch. It charges both the 38mm and 42mm models. And it connects via the Lightning to USB Cable and Apple 5W USB Power Adapter.
