Apple updates iMovie for iOS with iPhone X support

Following the release of version 10.1.9 for macOS on Monday, Apple has updated iMovie on iOS to support the Super Retina display on iPhone X, adopting Metal graphics processing,

Version 2.2.5 of iMovie on iOS has been a long-awaited update. Since the launch of the iPhone X in September, Apple had somewhat neglected the app, favouring Clips and leaving users without major updates or improvements.

What’s New

– Updated for Super Retina display on iPhone X
– Adopts Metal for graphics processing
– Improves localization for Simplified Chinese
– Improves overall stability
