Apple is said to be opening their second Mexico City retail store at the Antara Fashion Hall shopping centre
After opening their first Mexico based retail store back in September, Apple is said to of secured a space at the Antara Fashion Hall shopping centre in Mexico City for their new Latin American retail store, with sources close to the development claiming that the company’s new location will closely resemble the design of Apple’s multi-level World Trade Center location in New York City.
Apple has been quick to kickstart their Latin American expansion, with the company eying locations in Guadalajara, Monterrey, Santiago de Chile and Lima. The Antara Fashion Hall first opened back in 2006 and features 3 floors of retail space, restaurants, and a movie theatre.
For their second Mexico City store Apple is said to be taking over large retail space which was most recently occupied by Crate & Barrel. The location is twice the size of Apple’s current Mexico City store in Centro Santa Fe mall’s high-end Via Santa Fe wing.
