Apple releases macOS 10.13.4 update
Apple has released macOS 10.13.4 to the public following months of beta testing, bringing support for external GPUs, Business Chat support within Messages, security fixes and stability improvements.
macOS 10.13.4 is the first version of macOS to officially include support for external GPUs, enabling recent Macs to use high-performance video cards inside Thunderbolt 3 enclosures.
Apple notes that the “macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 update improves the stability, performance, and security of your Mac, and it is recommended for all users.” – The software can be downloaded directly from the Mac App Store.
The update includes the ‘Ink Cloud’ wallpaper that was previously exclusive to the iMac Pro.
Earlier today Apple released iOS 11.3 bringing “major updates to ARKit, Messages and more”, including new Animoji on iPhone X, the ability to view health records in the Health app, and more. – Apple also released their first software update for HomePod.
