Apple rebrands iTunes Podcast as ‘Apple Podcasts’, releasing new marketing material and branding guidelines
Unexpectedly, Apple has today refreshed the branding of iTunes Podcasts, renaming the service as ‘Apple Podcasts’, as well as publishing an updated marketing website for podcasters to learn how the new branding can help promote their shows.
The news was released by Stephen Wilson from Apple’s podcast marketing team who shared a link to Apple’s updated website which boasts how “Apple Podcasts is the best place to discover audio stories that entertain, inform, and inspire.”
Apple’s company profile Twitter for their podcast service has been seamlessly updated from @iTunesPodcats to @ApplePodcats, without the loss of their blue verification badge or any followers. The social media network appears to be redirecting users who search for @iTunesPodcast automatically to the new account.
It’s official: iTunes Podcasts is now @ApplePodcasts.
