Apple re-launches the iPhone 6 in the UK with an all new 32 GB storage option
The iPhone 6 is back! ? While many of us are focusing on the iPhone 8, Apple has today re-launched the iPhone 6 in the UK with an all new 32 GB storage option on the EE network. The “new” iPhone 6’s technical specifications are identical to the device which was originally launched in 2014, however only recently Apple has started to offer the handset in a new, previously unsold 32 GB storage capacity.
The “new” iPhone 6 was first seen in March when select Asian carriers started advertising the handset online, and more recently launching in Spain at Spanish retailer Media Markt at the beginning of the month. The idea behind re-launching the iPhone 6 appears to be to attract those who are looking for a more affordable iPhone handset, however in the UK the device its not that much cheaper than a brand new iPhone 7 with the same data plan.
The iPhone 6 originally launched in 16, 64 and 128-gigabyte versions, with a 4.7-inch 1,334-by-750 pixel resolution screen, a 1.2-megapixel camera out the front, an eight-megapixel shooter out the back, Apple’s 64-bit A8 processor with 1GB of RAM and more.
