Apple quietly discontinues 256GB iPhone 7 & iPhone 7 Plus
Shortly after the public release of the iPhone 8, Apple has today quietly discontinued both the 256GB iPhone 7 & iPhone 7 Plus, with the handset now only available in either a 32GB or 128GB storage variation.
Apple’s decision to shorten their iPhone 7 line comes one week after The Apple Post reported that according to a supply-chain source in Taiwan, Apple has reportedly slowed iPhone 8 production by approximately 50% due to low consumer demand, with analytics predicting the iPhone 7 is outselling the newly introduced iPhone 8.
While the 256GB iPhone 7 models has been discontinued by Apple, many carriers still have stock of the devices, however will likely not replace the handsets once sold.
