Apple promotes Apple Pay Cash in new iOS 11.2 email campaign
Apple has taken to email to promote Apple Pay Cash to iCloud users across the United States, encouraging them to upgrade to iOS 11.2 to take advantage of the company’s person-to-person payment system which launched last December.
The campaign opens promoting the service as a safe, easy and fast method of sending and receiving money from other iOS device owners…
Now you can use Apple Pay to pay and get paid right in Messages, or by asking Siri. Split a bill. Pay a babysitter. Send cash to your son in college. Just make sure you and your friends are using the latest version of iOS and you’re ready to go.
When a user is sent funds via the service they will receive an Apple Pay Cash account which they can then use instantly to make a purchase using Apple Pay in stores or online, send as a payment to someone else, or transfer it from Apple Pay Cash to their bank account.
