Apple is continuing its recent “Just Text Them the Money” advertising campaign with the addition of a new short commercial named “Dinner” which shows an iMessage conversation between two people arguing over who gets to pay for dinner.
“Dinner” is Apple’s fifth commercial in the “Just Text Them the Money” series. The new ads appeared in July showing various scenarios in which Apple Pay Cash can be used, including paying rent and paying for tickets to a game.
Apple Pay Cash is yet to expand out to users outside the United States following the launch of the service alongside iOS 11.2 in December.
On Tuesday, Apple was named the highest-rated mobile peer-to-peer payments service according to Consumer Reports who shared that Apple’s service scored “significantly higher” than competitors such as Venmo, Square Cash, Facebook Messenger and Zelle.
