Apple giving students 200GB of free iCloud storage
As part of their ‘Let’s take a field trip’ event today, Apple has announced that students who use iOS and macOS devices issued to them through schools will be given 200GB of free iCloud storage, a large upgrade from the 5GB that was previously given.
The increased amount of iCloud storage will be given to each student who uses a managed Apple ID, however not to those who have bought an Apple device to use to study, meaning your school must be registered with Apple, and the Apple ID linked to your device must also be registered as a managed account to qualify for the storage boost.
