Apple begins to ship their two new iPad Pro models, with stores stocking the devices from today
After their announcement last week at their annual World Wide Developers Conference, Apple is now beginning to ship their new 10.5-inch and updated 12.9-inch iPad Pro models, with Apple Stores and authorised Apple retailers stocking the devices from today.
One of the new features of the two new iPad Pro models is ProMotion display technology, which offers refresh rates of up to 120Hz for fluid scrolling, better responsiveness and smoother motion. Drawing on either tablet with an Apple Pencil is more natural and improves the experience for those using the critically acclaimed stylus.
“These are by far the most powerful iPads we’ve ever created with the world’s most advanced displays featuring ProMotion, the powerful new A10X Fusion chip and the advanced camera system of iPhone 7.” – Greg Joswiak, Apple’s vice president of Product Marketing.
Apple has ditched the 128GB storage capacity from the iPad Pro line up, with the model starting at 64GB working all the way up to 500GB. – The iPads are available in Silver, Space Grey and Gold.
