Apple launches ‘Back to University’ promo in Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, and South Korea
Apple has kicked-off its annual Back to University promotion in Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, and South Korea, offering qualifying students and teachers a free pair of Beats Solo3 Wireless Headphones or Powerbeats3 Wireless Earphones with the purchase of a new Mac or iPad Pro for uni.
With the purchase of an eligible Mac, which includes the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, MacBook, Mac Pro, and iMac Pro, students can get a free set of Beats Solo3 headphones, or Powerbeats3 headphones, and with the purchase of a 2018 iPad Pro with Face ID, Apple is providing a free set of Powerbeats3 earphones.
The Back to University promotion is open to newly accepted university students, parents buying for students, teachers and staff as well as those already in university. Customers looking to take advantage of the special event can visit their local Apple Store with uni ID, or purchase online, though this requires enrollment verification through UNiDays, like Apple’s student discount on the monthly Apple Music subscription fee.
Apple will automatically prompt eligible customers with the choice of new headphones during the checkout. In addition to the Beats giveaway, Apple is also promoting its trade-in program, which allows older devices to be traded in for credit towards new devices. The Back to University promotion is set to end on March 15, 2019.
