Analysts predict Apple’s iPhone Upgrade Program will be a popular option for iPhone 8 shoppers
According to a new research note published by Barclays, only 18% of iPhone users are happy to pay $1000 upwards outright for an iPhone 8, reporting that the average iPhone 8 shopper will likely choose Apple’s iPhone Upgrade Program, allowing them to pay monthly towards the cost of their device.
The research note points out that 85% of iPhone users claim they are willing to pay more than they did a few years ago, understanding the rise in component pricing and the price of new technology. – According to leaked dimensions coming from sources within Apple’s supply chain, it appears that the iPhone 8 will be smaller than the iPhone 7 Plus, yet larger than the iPhone 7, closely matching Samsung with the Galaxy S8.
The iPhone 8 is quickly building itself up to be one of the most anticipated iPhone releases to date, with Apple said to be introducing the iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus and iPhone 8 at one action packed product announcement this September.
