iPhone 16 Pro rumored to feature new display with 20% higher brightness

Apple is reportedly introducing new display technology with the iPhone 16 Pro, which will see the device reach a peak brightness of 1,200 nits, up 20% over the 1,000 nits supported in the iPhone 15 Pro.
As reported by 9to5Mac, leaker Instant Digital claims on Weibo that the iPhone 16 Pro will now reach 1,200 nits for SDR content, and 1,600 peak nits for HDR content, as per the current-generation iPhone 15 Pro series.

The iPhone 16 Pro is posed to include upgraded camera systems, and Wi-Fi 7 capabilities. Additionally, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are slated to gain a new Capture button on the side of the device, offering users access to camera controls whenever it is pressed.
