Apple Vision Pro rumored to launch in March, later than Apple internally planned

Apple is aiming to begin shipping its upcoming Vision Pro mixed-reality headset is March, slightly later than originally planned, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.
In this week’s edition of his Power On newsletter, Gurman says that whilst engineers are aiming to have visionOS, the operating system on which the Vision Pro headset will run, ready for January, other teams inside Apple including those responsible for logistics, are working towards a March launch, later than originally planned but still within Apple’s promised launch window of “early next year.”
Gurman reports that teams are still working on the roll out of Appel Vision Pro in the US, which will see the headset available exclusively through Apple. The iPhone maker is working on the hundreds of different SKUs for the device, which will cover different sizes of headbands and prescription lenses, and how in-store teams will handle demos of the device with customers.

In an earlier edition of the Power On newsletter, Gurman suggested that Apple Vision Pro will launch in the UK and Canada in late 2024.
