Apple announces Black Friday Shopping Event, offering free gift cards with select purchases

Apple has announced that it will be hosting its annual Black Friday shopping event from November 24 through November 27, offering free gift cards with the purchase of select products, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, HomePod, AirPods, Apple TV, and more.

Opposed to offering a product-level discount, which many retailers do over the Black Friday/Cyber Monday shopping period, Apple adopts a gift card approach, which sees shoppers given credit up to $200 off future purchases when shopping in-store or online over the four-day shopping event.

Customers purchasing a MacBook Air or Mac mini will receive an Apple Store gift card up to the value of $200. Those purchasing an iPad Pro, iPad Air, iPad (10th generation) or iPad mini will receive a gift card up to $100.

The iPhone 14, iPhone 13 and iPhone SE will come with a gift card up to $75, and so will orders of the AirPods Max, AirPods Pro (2nd generation), AirPods (3rd generation), and AirPods (2nd generation).

Apple Watch Series 9, Apple Watch SE, Apple TV 4K, HomePod, Magic Keyboard, Magic Keyboard Folio, Apple Pencil (2nd generation), Smart Keyboard Folio, Beats Studio Pro, Beats Solo3 Wireless, Powerbeats Pro, Beats Fit Pro, Beats Studio Buds +, Beats Studio Buds and Beats Flex will come with a gift card up to $50.
