Apple has released iOS 17.1.1, bringing bug fixes and improvements to iPhone.
The updates contained within iOS 17.1.1 include a fix for a bug that could cause the Weather Lock Screen widget to not correctly display snow, and a fix for a bug which, in rare circumstances, Apple Pay and other NFC features may become unavailable on iPhone 15 models after wireless charging in certain cars.
The release of iOS 17.1.1 follows after Apple rolled out iOS 17.1 last month, bringing with it a new Apple Music favoriting feature, new StandBy settings, AirDrop over cellular, reachability changes, Connected Cards in Wallet, and more.
How to Upgrade to iOS 17.1.1
- Open the Settings app
- Scroll down and select General”
- Tap “Software Update”
- When iOS 17.1.1 shows as an available update, tap “Download and Install”
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation
Alongside the release of iOS 17.1.1 for iPhone, Apple is also rolling out iPadOS 17.1.1, and watchOS 10.1.1.
