watchOS 10.1 out now with Double Tap for Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2

Apple has released watchOS 10.1 for Apple Watch, introducing NameDrop, a feature that allows two watches to share contact information by holding the wearable together, and Double Tap, a new feature exclusive to the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 for touch-free control of the device.
NameDrop, which is available for the Apple Watch Series 7 and later, is a new way to share contact information with a new friend. Users can tap on the My Card complication on their wearable and bring their Apple Watch face to face with the Apple Watch of the user the wish to share contact information with.
The user’s contact details will then be shared over-air, similar to AirDrop.
Exclusive to the new Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2, Apple is enabling Double Tap, allowing users to interact with their wearable without touching the screen.
The feature is enabled by the new S9 chip on the wearables, which allows users to interact with the device by pinching their index finger and thumb twice in compatible apps.
