Apple now offering home delivery for in-person Apple Store purchases

Apple has launched a new home delivery service for customers purchasing products in-person at an Apple Store, which allows shoppers to purchase both available Apple products and inventory not in stock in-store and have them shipped to their home in one transaction.
Through this new option, customers purchasing multiple items can now choose to ship or take home what’s available at their local Apple Store, while the remaining items in their order get delivered at a later date.
The new home delivery service was first rumored in July, when Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported that the iPhone maker was updating its internal store systems to allow staff to arrange for in-store purchases to be shipped to customers through Apple’s delivery network.
Previously, if a customer in-store wished to have their purchase delivered, they would of had to use Apple’s website or the Apple Store app to arrange for their purchase to be shipped.
