Some early iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro pre-orders now ‘Preparing to Ship’

Apple has started updating the order statuses of some early iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro pre-orders, with customers seeing their order in the “Preparing to Ship” phase ahead of availability beginning on Friday, September 22.
The “Preparing to Ship” phase is when Apple’s warehouse and fulfilment centers begin getting ready to be sent out for delivery. This can include tasks like packaging, labelling, and arranging for carrier pickup. It’s a sign that the order is progressing, but it hasn’t actually been shipped yet.
Apple unveiled the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro on Tuesday. Featuring the Dynamic Island, USB-C, the A16 Bionic chip, a enhanced contoured edge design, new 48MP Main camera, Precision Finding for Find My friends, five colored finishes, and more, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus is available in Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Black in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage capacities, starting at $799 (U.S.) and $899 (U.S.), respectively.
