Apple Watch Series 9 will look like 2022 model, Apple Watch Ultra to come in new black finish

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has claimed that the focus for this year’s Apple Watch upgrade is performance, with the Apple Watch Series 9 expected to offer performance improvements over any other substantial upgrades.
For the Apple Watch Ultra, Gurman claims that the wearable will retain last year’s inaugural look and feel, although Apple plans to introduce a new black finish alongside processing speed improvements.
Apple last upgraded the processor inside the Apple Watch in 2020 with the launch of the Apple Watch Series 6. However, according to the report, the new Series 9 and second-generation Apple Watch Ultra will tout “major gains in processing performance.”
Additionally, with the launch of the new series, Gurman expects Apple to discontinue its line of genuine leather bands and straps, instead launching new synthetic leather options as part of a move to improve sustainability.
