iPhone 15 lineup to enter mass production later this month, according to report

Apple supplier Foxconn will reportedly begin mass production of the iPhone 15 lineup later this month at its assembly plant in Zhengzhou, China, according to a report from the Economic Daily News on Monday.
The outlet reports that mass production of the iPhone 15 series, which is expected to be announced in September, will boost Foxconn’s third quarter financial performance, as well as benefiting TSMC, Hitachi and other Apple supplier’s stocks to grow as manufacturing ramps up.
Trial productions of the iPhone 15 series started in January, with it said that factories have been working with Apple on the new product introduction (NPI) process for the iPhone 15, which involves perfecting the manufacturing methods ahead of production at scale.
Last week it was reported that Foxconn, Apple’s primary iPhone manufacturer, is beginning its annual hiring ramp-up as it prepares to begin mass production of the iPhone 15, with the company paying joining bonuses to new employees at its Zhengzhou factory to attract new staff to manage busy iPhone assembly lines.
