Apple announces winners of 2023 Apple Design Awards

Apple has officially announced the winners of this year’s 2023 Apple Design Awards, which recognizes 12 best-in-class developers for excellence in innovation, ingenuity, and technical achievement in app and game design.
The Apple Design Awards is split into six different categories that recognize one app and one game, each for Inclusivity, Delight and Fun, Interaction, Social Impact, Visuals and Graphics, and Innovation.
In the Inclusivity category, app Universe — Website Builder and game stitch. won for the experience provided for all by supporting people from a diversity of backgrounds, abilities, and languages.
In the Delight and Fun category, app Duolingo and game Afterplace won for providing “memorable, engaging, and satisfying experiences” for users.
In the Interaction category, app Flighty and game Railbound won for offering intuitive interfaces and effortless controls across all Apple platforms they support.
In the Social Impact category, app Headspace and game Endling won for shining a light on critical issues.
In the Visuals and Graphics category, app Any Distance and game Resident Evil Village won for offering stunning imagery, skillfully drawn interfaces, and high-quality animations that lend to a distinctive and cohesive theme.
Lastly, in the Innovation category, app SwingVision: A.I. Tennis App and game MARVEL SNAP won for providing users with a state-of-the-art experience through novel use of Apple technologies that set them apart in their genre.
