Apple to open new store at London’s Battersea Power Station, where it will soon open new UK headquarters

Apple is rumored to be opening a new store at London’s iconic Battersea Power Station, which has undergone an extensive overhaul to convert the building from a former coal-fired power station to a high-end shopping, commercial and residential development.
According to a new report from Bloomberg, which claims that Apple is planning to open 50+ new or remodeled Apple Stores through 2027, the iPhone maker is said to be opening a new retail store at the power station in London, where Apple will soon house 3,000 corporate employees in 500,000 square feet worth of office space above the shopping complex to form Apple’s new UK headquarters.
Apple is said to be considering a total of nine new and remodeled Apple Stores across Europe through 2027, with Battersea Power Station being a new location in the country’s capital city that could open as soon as this month.
Apple is yet to confirm when its corporate headquarters will open at Battersea Power Station, with the company’s CEO, Tim Cook, saying last year that the opening would take place in early 2023, representing a “commitment to Apple’s future in the UK.”
The UK is Apple’s third-biggest retail market, home to about 40 stores.
