iOS 17 to turn iPhone Lock Screen into ‘smart-home display’

iOS 17 is rumored to include an all-new ‘smart-home display’ feature that will show information such as calendar appointments, the weather and notifications in the style of a smart-home display, according to a report from Bloomberg on Wednesday.
The insight claims that the new UI will appear when an iPhone is locked and positioned horizontally, making the device more useful when it is resting on a person’s desk or nightstand.
