Apple to begin iPhone 15 display panel mass production in June, analyst says

Apple suppliers are reportedly readying for mass production of the display panels for the iPhone 15 series as soon as June, with display analyst Ross Young suggesting that Apple is aiming to avoid a repeat of last year’s iPhone 14 availability debacle, which left all models sold out over the holiday shopping period.
In a tweet shared with subscribers (via 9to5Mac), Young says both the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro are expected to have “an early lead in volume,” pointing to Apple preparing more of the two specific models in anticipation of higher demand.
Reaffirming previous rumors, Young says that all four iPhone 15 models will feature the Dynamic Island and that 120Hz ProMotion will remain exclusive to the high-end iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Up until recently it was rumored that Apple may adopt a new solid-state button design for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, which would see the new models ditch the physical volume and power buttons found on the current-generation devices for a new single non-moving solid-state button that will simulate the feel of physical buttons through software, although it is now understood that these plans have been dropped.
