Apple seeds second iOS 16.5 RC as public release nears

Apple has today seeded its second release candidate version of iOS 16.5, coming days ahead of the expected public release of the update.
iOS 16.5 will include a new Pride Celebration wallpaper for the Lock Screen to honor the LGBTQ+ community and culture, a new Sports tab in the Apple News app to give easy access to stories, scores, standings, and more, for the teams and leagues users follow, and new My Sports score and schedule cards in Apple News app that take users to game pages where they can find additional details about specific games.
iOS 16.5 also includes bug fixes, such as a fixes for an issue where Spotlight may become unresponsive, a fix for an issue where Screen Time settings may reset or not sync across all devices, and updates to address an issue where Podcasts in CarPlay may not load content.
