Apple starts shipping “Assembled in Brazil” iPhone 14 models

Apple supplier Foxconn has seemingly moved some of its iPhone 14 production to Brazil, with a customer receiving a new iPhone with “Assembled in Brazil” labeled on the box as the company continues to move device production away from China.
First noted by blog MacMagazine (via 9to5Mac), the new Brazilian-made iPhone 14 models feature “BR/A” the part number, confirming that they were produced in Brazil.
Apple has been ramping up its iPhone production outside of China over recent months, with the company aiming to produce 25 percent of all iPhones in India by 2025.
It appears that only the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are being manufactured in Brazil, with the high-end ‘Pro’ and ‘Pro Max’ models still being produced in China.
