Rumored new 15-inch MacBook Air expected to be announced next month

Apple’s rumored new, larger 15-inch MacBook Air is still expected to be announced in April, with Display Supply Chain Consultants analyst Ross Young saying on Twitter that the launch of the machine is still on the cards for a launch next month.
Responding to a comment, Young said he still believes Apple will announce a new MacBook Air in April, doubling down on a previous post he made in which the analyst said Apple suppliers had started panel production for the new machine in January.
The design of the new 15-inch MacBook Air isn’t expected to dramatically change compared to the current 13.6-inch model that Apple announced last year, featuring a Liquid Retina display, 1080p HD camera, MagSafe charging, and more in four new finishes — midnight, starlight, silver, and space gray.
On Sunday, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported that it is still unclear what chip Apple will use for the larger 15-inch MacBook Air, noting that if the machine launches in a few months alongside an update to the 13.6-inch model with the M2 chip, “they’ll quickly become outdated,” although a “15-inch MacBook Air with an M2 chip may still excite consumers.”
