Apple homepage in Turkey goes dark in recognition of earthquakes, Tim Cook shares condolences

Apple CEO Tim Cook has shared his thoughts and condolences to the people of Turkey and Syria following Monday’s 7.8-magnitude earthquake and the various aftershocks that have killed over nineteen thousand people.
Taking to Twitter, Cook said Apple will be donating to relief and recovery efforts in the two countries, sending thoughts and condolences to the people of Turkey, Syria, and anyone affected by the earthquakes.
Apple has updated its homepage in Turkey, pulling the site’s usual content and replacing it with a black screen with a memorial ribbon.
