Apple rumored to launch new AirPods Max and $99 AirPods between 2024-2025

Apple is rumored to be launching second-generation over-ear AirPods Max and new affordable $99 AirPods dubbed “AirPods Lite” between 2024-2025 according to respected industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who claims that suppliers Hon Teng (FIT) – a Hon Hai/Foxconn Group subsidiary and Luxshare ICT will be responsible for production of the new wearables.
Kuo’s mentioning of low-cost “AirPods Lite” follows after Haitong International Research analyst Jeff Pu claimed last week that Apple was working on more affordable AirPods to complete in the low-cost wireless earbud market.
Currently, Apple’s most affordable AirPods are the second-generation AirPods, priced at $129.00. The lineup includes additionally the latest third-generation AirPods beginning at $169.00, the second-generation AirPods Pro at $249.00, and the high-end over-ear AirPods Max at $549.00.
